Clemson signed a pair of quarterbacks in its 2026 recruiting class – four-star Tait Reynolds and three-star Brock Bradley.
New Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris met with the media following Friday’s spring practice and said both true freshmen signal-callers have been impressive, on and off the field, after enrolling early in January.
“We brought two freshmen in, [Reynolds] and Brock, and both of them have been very impressive in the meetings and impressive out on the field,” Morris said.
Asked about Reynolds specifically, Morris says the 6-foot-2, 215-pounder is “thick” and possesses a “live arm,” but is still processing everything as a young player.
“Obviously Tait, he does have a live arm,” Morris said. “Thick. He’s a big guy. But again, he’s processing the whole thing as well. But there’s been some really good things that they’ve all done.”
A hamstring injury basically robbed Reynolds of his entire senior season at Queen Creek (Ariz.) High School, but before that, he completed 61.9 percent of his passes for 2,238 yards with 22 touchdowns and only five interceptions as a junior in 2024. He also rushed 137 times for 1,426 yards and 19 touchdowns that year en route to being named by the Arizona Cardinals as the state’s player of the year.
Reynolds was the No. 3 prospect in the state of Arizona and the 11th-best dual-threat quarterback nationally in the 2026 recruiting class, according to ESPN.
Bradley, meanwhile, exited Spain Park (Ala.) High School as the program’s all-time winningest quarterback, collecting a 28-7 record as a three-year starter and engineering a school-record 17-game winning streak across the 2023-24 seasons. He completed 65.6 percent of his passes for 7,694 yards and 87 touchdowns while rushing 122 times for 334 yards and another eight scores.
Bradley threw for 2,930 yards and 32 touchdowns as a senior in 2025, guiding his team to a 9-3 record and a second-round playoff appearance.
