New ESPN 2-Round Mock Draft Features 4 Tigers

With this year’s NFL Scouting Combine in the books, ESPN NFL draft analyst Jordan Reid released a two-round, 2026 NFL mock draft.

Reid’s projections feature four Clemson players coming off the board over the first two rounds, including two in Round 1.

Reid sees Clemson cornerback Avieon Terrell going to the Dallas Cowboys in the first round with the 20th overall pick.

Terrell did not run the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, but impressed with a strong showing during on-field drills.

Reid ranks Terrell as the No. 25 overall prospect and the fourth-best cornerback in this year’s draft class.

“After taking Dillon Thieneman earlier, the Cowboys double dip in the secondary with Terrell, a prospect who scouts keep saying should go higher than expected,” Reid wrote. “His physical mentality and competitive demeanor are easy to see, and he had one of the better on-field workouts of any corner at the combine. The Cowboys have holes to fill in the secondary around standout corner DaRon Bland, and Terrell would fit perfectly in the back end of new coordinator Christian Parker’s scheme.”

Five picks after Terrell, Reid projects Clemson defensive tackle Peter Woods to be taken by the Chicago Bears with the No. 25 overall pick.

Woods did not work out at the combine, and is instead expected to “perform fully” at Clemson’s pro day, which is scheduled for March 12.

Reid ranks Woods as the No. 13 overall prospect and the No. 1 defensive tackle in this year’s draft class.

“The Bears badly need a disruptive defensive tackle, so let’s give them my top-ranked player at the position,” Reid wrote. “Despite not having the 2025 season that many envisioned (30 tackles and two sacks), Woods still showed plenty of Round 1 flashes. He’s a bouncy athlete at 6-3, 298 pounds who fits best as a 3-technique. His ability to create quick wins from the inside as an explosive penetrator is something that is sorely lacking in Chicago.”

Moving to the second round, Reid’s mock draft has Clemson offensive tackle Blake Miller going to the Houston Texans with the No. 34 overall selection – the second pick of Round 2.

Miller is the No. 39 overall prospect in this year’s draft class, according to Reid’s rankings, and he performed well at the combine.

“With Howard off to Cleveland and Juice Scruggs headed to Detroit, the Texans could address the offensive line here,” Reid wrote. “Losing Howard leaves Blake Fisher as their projected starter at right tackle. Miller started 54 career games at Clemson, so he is battle-tested and could potentially start right away with his run-blocking power and strong hands in pass protection.”

Rounding out the Clemson players in Reid’s mock draft is edge rusher T.J. Parker, whom Reid projects to be taken by the Kansas City Chiefs with the 40th overall pick.

Parker had a down 2025 season as his play and production slipped, but he finished the season with a flourish with his three-sack performance against South Carolina, and he continued that momentum with a monster week at the Senior Bowl while dominating during the practices in Mobile, Ala. He then followed that up with a strong performance during on-field workouts at the combine.

Reid ranks Parker as the No. 37 overall prospect in this year’s draft class and the seventh-best edge rusher.

“The Chiefs have preferred strong, well-put-together defensive ends who understand how to set an edge against the run,” Reid wrote. “Parker provides that along with pass-rush upside and fits the mold of what Kansas City has gravitated toward in the past.”

The 2026 NFL Draft will take place from April 23-25 in Pittsburgh.
