An elite safety prospect has collected an offer from Clemson after this weekend’s Elite Retreat.

Howard (Macon, Ga.) four-star Ta’Shawn Poole announced the offer from the Tigers on Sunday.

“After going to the Elite Retreat yesterday at Clemson! I am extremely blessed to receive an offer from the Tigers!!🧡💜” Poole wrote in a social media post.

Poole is ranked among the country’s top five safety prospects in the 2027 class according to Rivals, 247Sports and ESPN. He is ranked as high as the No. 42 overall prospect in his class, regardless of position, by ESPN.

The coveted recruit owns more than 30 offers in total, including other offers he received this year from Indiana, Alabama, Virginia Tech, Mississippi State and Wake Forest.
