Clemson Commit One of Top Performers at UA Camp

Another camp, another impressive showing for Clemson’s lone quarterback commit in the 2027 class.

Four-star Kharim Hughley (Gainesville, GA) was named one of the top performers at the UA Next Camp in Atlanta on Sunday. Hughley was second among all quarterbacks, with three-star Derrick Baker ranking one spot ahead of him. Baker is currently committed to Tennessee.

Hughley committed to Clemson last summer, just days after picking up his offer. He visited for every home game last season.

As a junior, Hughley helped guide his high school team to an appearance in the 5A state title game in Georgia. While they fell short of winning it all, Hughley was a big part of the success that led to a 12-win season, throwing for 2,456 yards with 33 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He also rushed for 379 yards with eight more scores via his legs.

ESPN ranks Hughley No. 121 overall and No. 5 among all quarterbacks in the class.
