Godfrey Named NABC Second Team All-District

CLEMSON, S.C. — Clemson University men’s basketball senior forward RJ Godfrey (Suwanee, Ga./North Gwinnett/Georgia) was named an NABC All-District Second Team performer, announced by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division I.

The NABC introduced a new model for its Division I district alignment this season, with schools arranged by state rather than by conference. The modernized NABC Division I district alignment features 10 geographic regions that each encompass multiple states.

Godfrey was previously named Honorable Mention All-ACC prior to the 2026 ACC Tournament.

Godfrey has turned in a career year for the Tigers in his return to Clemson for his senior campaign. He secured his first 400-point season (406) and leads the Tigers in scoring (11.9 per game) and is first in rebounding with 180 total rebounds (5.3 per game).

The Suwanee, Ga. native posted career-highs in field goal percentage (.612), rebounds (180), assists (54) and steals (22).

Godfrey is one of 27 players nationally and one of 10 high major players to average at least his stat line of 11.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and shoot over 61.2 percent from the field.

Clemson faces Iowa on Friday, March 20 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Tip time is approximately 6:50 p.m. on TNT.
