The Clemson Baseball team is ranked no more.
After getting swept by Notre Dame over the weekend, the Tigers fell completely out of the D1 Baseball Top 25 Rankings this week. The team was previously ranked No. 19. The Fighting Irish made their debut in the rankings, coming in at No. 23.
After back-to-back midweek road wins over College of Charleston and The Citadel, Clemson had a dismal weekend in South Bend. On Friday, the Tigers were blanked 6-0, the third time this season Erik Bakich’s team has been shut out in a series opener. Clemson was not shut out at all in 2025.
The Tigers are now 18-7 overall and have limped to a 1-5 start in ACC play. Up next is a midweek home game against No. 15 Coastal Carolina on Tuesday and a home series against Miami beginning on Friday.
A total of six ACC squads are featured in this week’s rankings.
- Georgia Tech No. 3
- Virginia No. 9
- Florida State No. 10
- North Carolina No. 13
- NC State No. 14
- Notre Dame No. 23
