Bad News for NC State

NC State fans got up to some bad news on Thursday.

Former Clemson assistant Will Wade, who coached the Tigers under Oliver Purnell, is leaving Raleigh to head back to Baton Rouge. According to Yahoo.com’s Jon Rothstein, LSU will officially part ways with head coach Matt McMahon today and will hire Wade as its next head basketball coach.

Wade was previously the head coach at LSU from 2017-’22.
