ESPN NFL Draft analyst Jordan Reid joined the Gramlich & Mac Lain show with Clemson alums Kelly Gramlich and Eric Mac Lain to break down where the ACC’s best draft prospects will end up on draft night.
Reid was asked which Clemson prospect he believes will be taken first in the 2026 NFL Draft, which will take place from April 23-25 in Pittsburgh.
Reid had an interesting response – offensive tackle Blake Miller.
Reid says “there’s no stains on his resume,” meaning that Miller doesn’t have question marks surrounding him, like fellow Tiger draft prospects such as cornerback Avieon Terrell, defensive tackle Peter Woods and edge rusher TJ Parker.
“That’s a great question. I honestly would go with Blake Miller, just because there’s no stains on his resume right now,” Reid said. “What I mean by that is there’s some question marks with Terrell with the hamstring [injury]. Peter Woods is a bit polarizing. And there’s a bit of a discrepancy with teams as far as how they value TJ Parker, or how highly they value him.
“So, with Blake Miller, there’s just no stains on his resume, honestly, going into the draft. So, I would go with Blake Miller.”

Miller is widely regarded as a first-round talent and considered one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the 2026 class.
Reid’s NFL Draft rankings, released in early February, ranked Miller as the No. 39 overall prospect in this year’s draft class.
“He’s steady, experienced at both tackle spots and has strong hands to latch and control defenders at the point of attack,” Reid wrote. “Miller is rarely out of position against twists and stunts from defensive fronts and able to sort and execute against those looks. He’s a dependable blocker with a ready-made skill set and should contribute early in his career.
A recent seven-round mock draft from one of Reid’s fellow ESPN draft analysts, Matt Miller, features eight Clemson players overall, including three in the first round – Miller, along with Woods and Terrell.
Miller broke the Clemson record for career snaps from scrimmage, playing 3,778 offensive snaps over 54 career games (all starts) from 2022-25.
A hard-nosed iron man, Miller started every game Clemson played in his entire four-year career and also set the Clemson record for consecutive starts by a non-specialist with 54.
He followed his 2022 Freshman All-American season with three consecutive All-ACC seasons and joined Mitch Hyatt (four), Jeb Flesch (three) and Tyrone Crowder (three) as the fourth offensive lineman in school history to be a three-time All-ACC honoree.
