Clemson Lands Player of the Week Honor

CLEMSON — Clemson’s Alexa Spallina earned Offensive Player of the Week honors from the ACC on Tuesday.

In two games against Davidson (March 31) and California (April 3), Spallina dished out 17 assists while scoring four goals for a total of 21 points.

The Clemson Lacrosse star set two school single-game records against Davidson, having 10 assists and 13 points, while also scoring a hat trick on four shots. After traveling to the Golden State, she scored another goal and recorded seven more assists against Cal.

The ACC Weekly honor marked the sixth player of the week award (fifth player in program history) for Clemson Lacrosse.
