A former Clemson men’s basketball player is back in the transfer portal.
Chauncey Wiggins has entered the portal again, according to Matt Zentiz and Chris Hummer of CBS Sports.
The 6-foot-10, 225-pound forward spent the 2025-26 season at Florida State, following three seasons at Clemson.
For the Seminoles this past season, Wiggins averaged 13.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 27.8 minutes per game over 32 contests (30 starts). He shot 47.9 percent from the field and 38.7 percent from 3-point range.
Wiggins scored a career-high 31 points in FSU’s win over SMU on March 7. In FSU’s victory at Clemson on Feb. 21, he played 28 minutes and posted seven points with two rebounds, one assist and a steal.

As a junior for the Tigers in the 2024-25 season, Wiggins averaged 8.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. He played in all 34 games (26 starts) and averaged 23.6 minutes per contest while shooting 43.8 percent from the field and 36.5 percent from 3-point range.
In 2023-24, Wiggins appeared in all 36 games for Clemson (18 starts) en route to the Elite Eight, averaging 17.7 minutes, 5.4 points and 2.1 rebounds per game while shooting 44.2 percent from the floor and 34.9 percent from 3.
As a freshman the season prior, the Georgia native played in 27 games and averaged 8.9 minutes per game with 2.4 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.4 assists per contest.
