Clemson Continues to Expand Board at Tight End

Clemson has once again expanded the board at tight end. ‘

Three-star Carter Blackwell (Lee County, GA) announced an offer from the Tigers on Saturday.

The 6-foot-4, 224-pounder now has more than two dozen offers, including South Carolina, North Carolina, Louisville, Wisconsin, Colorado and Florida State.

As a junior, Blackwell caught 24 passes for 438 yards with five touchdown grabs.

Heading into this week, Clemson had only offered three tight ends total, and in the past few days two of those have come off the board with four-star Grant Haviland committing to Vanderbilt and three-star Tommy Douglas announcing a verbal pledge to Florida.

On top of the offer to Blackwell, the Tigers also offered three-star Mason Hall on Friday. Four-star Jaxon Dollar is the other uncommitted target with an offer.
