Current Tigers Share Final Message to Draft Prospects

Before the 2026 NFL Draft, Clemson Football posted a cool video of current Clemson players sharing one final message for their former teammates before they hear their names called this weekend.

You can read what they had to say and see the video below:

Junior CB Ashton Hampton to CB Avieon Terrell: “AV man, it’s time. Go prove everyone wrong. Go show everyone that you’re the dawg, the relentless leader, the physical playmaker that I know you are. Love you man. Go do it.”

Junior LB Sammy Brown to LB Wade Woodaz: “Wade, I just wanna say how first off, proud I am of you, but second off, how thankful I am to be able to have two years to play with you. I just wanna thank you for being a great leader and mentor to me through these past couple years. I’m gonna miss playing with you, and it’s gonna be a lot different not knowing what that guy next to me is thinking. You know what I’m saying, but whatever happens in your journey, I’m always gonna have your back.”

Redshirt sophomore DT Champ Thompson to DT DeMonte Capehart: “Cuddie, it’s that time. This is what you’ve been waiting on. This is what you’ve been working for. I’m proud of you, and you know I’m gonna always be in your corner.”

Redshirt senior OL Collin Sadler to OT Blake Miller: “Blake, seeing you progress over the last four years has been nothing but a treat for me personally. Love you. I’m in your corner as always, as you know, and I can’t wait to see what you do with your NFL career.”

Redshirt junior WR Tyler Brown to WR Antonio Williams: “A.W., my brother, I appreciate you for all you’ve done for me and all the trust you’ve put into me just to take over this role of yours man. You’ve put a lot of work in here, and it’s some big shoes to fill, and you’ve got a bright future ahead my brother. I love you man, and good luck.”

Senior S Ronan Hanafin to QB Cade Klubnik: “Cade, it’s been a joy to be with you the past couple years. I’m so proud of you and how far you’ve come. From the balcony conversations at night to the boat rides in the summer, God blessed me to have you in my life, and you’re gonna do great amazing things and I hope to see you in the future. Love you bro. I’m so proud of you.”

Redshirt senior DE Jahiem Lawson to DE T.J. Parker: “T.J. Parker man, I can’t wait to see what you do man. I know you been putting this work in your whole life man, since you was a kid. Continue to be great man. Love you brodie.”

Redshirt senior LB Jeremiah Alexander to DT Peter Woods: “Peter Woods man. Seven Eleven. Alabaster, Alabama, man. I’m proud of you, man. We’ve both came a long way since the Buck Creek days man. It’s been amazing to see you grow and develop into the person you are today, and who you’re gonna become. I love you man and I’m praying for you and I can’t wait to see you live out this dream.”

Sophomore RB Gideon Davidson to RB Adam Randall: “Hey Adam, I just wanted to say thank you for mentoring me last year. Good luck. I’m gonna try to represent you well. You got this.”

Redshirt sophomore LB Drew Woodaz to LB Wade Woodaz: “Wade, I just want to say thank you for being my big brother. When they say, ‘Let someone else’s rear lights be your headlights,’ you were my rear lights, and I think those were the best rear lights I could’ve got. There’s no one else I would rather see win. I’d rather see you win more than I see myself win just because that’s how much I love you man. You’re my big brother and I couldn’t be more proud.”
