One of Clemson’s top cornerback targets has cut his list.
Four-star Jayden Aparicio-Bailey released his five finalists on Tuesday, with Clemson, Georgia, Auburn, South Carolina and Ohio State each making the cut.
Aparicio-Bailey is one of the Tigers’ top cornerback targets in the 2027 class. The 6-foot-2 defensive back picked up an offer from the Tigers last summer after working out at camp. He returned for the season-opener against LSU and then again for the Elite Retreat in early March. He is scheduled to be back for the big official visit weekend, May 29-31.
“They stack up pretty well,” Aparicio-Bailey said in a previous interview. “They are definitely strong in my recruitment.”
As a junior, Aparicio-Bailey logged 40 tackles with four interceptions.
Rivals ranks the talented prospect No. 117 overall, No. 10 among all safeties in the class and No. 4 in the state of Alabama. While the services list him as a safety, Clemson is recruiting him as a corner.
After starring at Oak Mountain in Alabama last season, Aparicio-Bailey will play at Prattville in 2026.
