The Clemson coaching is giving itself some options at defensive end.
Four-star edge rusher Chaz Gray (St. Joseph Regional, NJ) announced an offer from the Tigers on Thursday.
The 6-foot-4, 250-pound prospect now has more than two dozen offers, with Texas A&M, Tennessee and Penn State being some of the programs to offer this spring. Other offers include Georgia, Miami, Ohio State and Notre Dame.
As a junior, Gray was credited with 40 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and three passes defended.
It was interesting to see Kevin Kelly out on the road making school stops during the current contact period. Kelly, who is the Director of Player Evaluation & Acquisition, made a stop at Westside in Anderson this week.
