Clemson’s 2027 recruiting class has a new member.
Tight end Nicholas Pollack (N. Oconee, GA) has announced a commitment to the Tigers. The 6-foot-3, 225-pounder just announced an offer on Saturday. Wake Forest, Cincinnati, East Carolina and Samford were his other offers.
Pollack plays both ways for his high school team, serving as a tight end on offense and racking up a lot of snaps as a linebacker on the defensive side of the ball. He is also a teammate of current three-star safety commit Harrison Luke.
Pollack is the son of former Georgia standout David Pollack, who was a first-round draft pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2005. During his time in Athens, Pollack was named SEC Player of the Year two different times, while also earning SEC Defensive Player of the Year honors once. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
Pollack’s pro career was ultimately cut sort after suffering a neck injury early during his second season with the Bengals. He would go on to become one of the more respected national analysts, having a role on ESPN’s College Game Day for several years.
Clemson now has 18 players currently committed in the 2027 class, with Pollack becoming the second tight end to pledge, joining three-star Carter Blackwell. He was on campus for the big official visit gathering over the weekend.
