Clemson is losing one of its best players.
Slugger Nate Savoie will enter the transfer portal, according to a report. The outfielder/catcher hit .329 and was second on the team with 16 homers. His 52 RBI and .596 slugging percentage led the Tigers. He was also second on the team with 16 doubles.
Savoie did struggle some down the stretch, hitting just over the final 11 games and driving in just two runs over the final 10 games.
Savoie began his career at Loyola Marymount, where he was the West Coast Conference’s Freshman of the Year in 2025. He hit .300 during his first collegiate season, with 20 home runs and 61 RBI, while slugging .675. He added 14 doubles, a triple and scored 42 runs in 51 games.
The portal opens on June 1 and runs through June 30.
