David Pollack Reacts to Son’s Clemson Commitment

Former Georgia and NFL linebacker David Pollack’s wardrobe will have a new look these days.

Pollack is used to wearing red and black as a UGA alum. But he knows he’ll be sporting more orange now, with his son headed to Tigertown in the future.

Pollack took to social media with the following reaction after his son – class of 2027 tight end Nicholas Pollack – committed to Clemson on Monday:

Nicholas, who hails from North Oconee High School in Georgia, chose Clemson over other offers from Wake Forest, Cincinnati, East Carolina and Samford. The 6-foot-3, 225-pounder plays both ways for his high school team, serving as a tight end on offense and racking up a lot of snaps as a linebacker on the defensive side of the ball.

His father was a first-round draft pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2005. During his time in Athens, David was named SEC Player of the Year two different times, while also earning SEC Defensive Player of the Year honors once. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame, as well as a current college football analyst who formerly worked for ESPN.
