Former Clemson Target SEC Bound

A former Clemson recruiting target has revealed his college decision.

Four-star OL Reed Ramsier (First Academy, FL) announced a commitment to Auburn on Monday. Ramsier is a former teammate of current freshman lineman Chance Barclay.

The 6-foot-4, 290-pound recruit was originally scheduled to attend the big official visit weekend, May 29-31, but those plans were scratched after the Tigers landed two offensive linemen ahead of that event. Clemson would add two more in the following days, giving them a total of four offensive linemen committed in the 2027 class. Three of the four are rated as four-star talents.

Ramsier picked up one of the opening offers last summer after working out at camp. He was back on campus for the Elite Retreat in March.

247 ranks Ramsier No. 228 overall and No.12 among all interior linemen in the 2027 class.
