Clemson is losing a member of its pitching staff.

RHP Lexie Hames has announced she is entering the transfer portal. Hames will have three years of eligibility remaining.

“After a lot of thought and prayer, I have decided to enter the transfer portal with three years of eligibility,” Hames posted to social media. “I am forever grateful for the growth over this past year at Clemson, but I am excited to see where God’s plan leads me next.”

Hames made 16 appearances in the circle for Clemson in 2026, as well as one pinch-hit appearance. She was 2-2 with an ERA of 3.33 in 27.1 innings pitched.

Hames was the Gatorade Player of the Year in Pennsylvania as a senior in high school.
