Death Valley will look a little bit different during Clemson’s first home game this fall.
Clemson Football plans to “Stripe The Valley” for the Sept. 12 contest vs. Georgia Southern at Memorial Stadium.
This crowd participation event for the Tigers’ home opener against the Eagles is designed to visually replicate the distinct white and purple stripe on Clemson’s orange football helmet by having fans wear designated colors (orange, purple or white) based on their specific seating section.
You can visit the link here and enter your section to find out whether you should wear orange, purple or white for the Georgia Southern game.
After opening the 2026 season against LSU at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La., on Sept. 5 (7:30 p.m., ABC), Clemson will make its home debut a week later when the Tigers host the Eagles of the Sun Belt Conference, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. on ACC Network.
Clemson and Georgia Southern met for the first time (and only time thus far) on September 15, 2018, when the second-ranked Tigers amassed 595 yards and used a 21-point second quarter en route to a 38-7 victory amid Clemson’s 15-0 national championship campaign.
