A former Clemson target has finally revealed a college decision.
Four-star linebacker Sean Fox announced a commitment to Kentucky on Thursday. Fox had emerged as one of the Tigers’ final targets at the position after visiting for the Elite Retreat in March, and at one point, it looked like he might be headed Clemson’s direction.
Fox attended the big official visit weekend, May 29-31, and also took officials to Georgia and Kentucky. Coming off his visit to Lexington almost three weeks ago, the Wildcats were considered the team to beat. A few days later, predictions started rolling in for the Tigers, but Kentucky is rumored to have countered with a substantial offer, and the momentum just as quickly shifted back towards the Wildcats.
The Tigers went out and secured a commitment from three-star RJ Hudson last Friday, less than two weeks after offering him, and are now likely done at linebacker in the 2027 class. Three-star Max Brown and four-star Bryce Kish are the other two players at the position currently committed to Clemson.
