We wanted to pass along an injury update from Clemson fall camp on Monday.

The early portion of Monday afternoon’s practice was open to the media, and senior defensive tackle Vic Burley was in a yellow (non-contact) jersey, signifying an injury. This is new since the Tigers began fall camp.

Burley enters the 2026 season having recorded 24 tackles (0.5 for loss) and a pass breakup in 267 defensive snaps over 21 career games (one start).

The 6-foot-4, 315-pounder arrived at Clemson in 2023 as the Georgia AAAAA Defensive Player of the Year and a consensus top-80 recruit.

Last season, Burley was credited with 15 tackles (0.5 for loss) and a pass breakup in 175 defensive snaps while playing in all 13 games, including one start.

Monday marked the fourth practice of fall camp for Clemson. The Tigers returned to the field to start fall camp last Thursday, Aug. 6 in advance of the team’s season opener against LSU at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La., on Sept. 5 (7:30 p.m., ABC).
