The Touchdown Club of Atlanta released its preseason Georgia All-State teams on Tuesday, with multiple Clemson commits earning spots.
On the offensive side, four-star Kharim Hughley (Gainesville, GA) earned the honor at quarterback. Hughley helped guide his team to an appearance in the 5A state title game as a junior, throwing for 2,456 yards, 33 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. He also rushed for 379 yards and eight more scores.
Hughley has been committed to Clemson since last summer.
Four-star Gary Walker (Creekside) was one of three running backs to make the list. Walker committed to Clemson back in May and stands as the Tigers’ lone running back take in the 2027 class.
As a junior, Walker rushed for 1,669 yards with 20 touchdowns, helping lead his team to a 4A state title. 247 Sports and Rivals both rank him as one of the eight best backs in the class, with Rivals slotting him No. 131 overall.
Three-star Max Brown (Jefferson) is one of three linebackers to secure the honors. ESPN tabs Brown as the 14th-best linebacker in the class.
Brown committed last summer just days after picking up one of Clemson’s opening offers. After being named a preseason All-American by MaxPreps, the linebacker missed most of his junior season with a knee injury.
As a sophomore in 2024, he totaled 152 total tackles, averaging more than 10 stops per game. He added 14 tackles for loss, two sacks, a forced fumble and three fumble recoveries.
