CLEMSON — There is more bad news coming out of Chapel Hill, N.C., involving the football team.

Two University of North Carolina football players are facing legal troubles after police reports showed they were pulled over Tuesday night, according to several media reports coming out of the Chapel Hill area.

Freshman wide receiver CJ Sadler was the driver. He was issued a speeding ticket, according to WTVD. It was his third citation for speeding since August.

Fellow freshman wideout Keeyun Chapman was also in the vehicle and was arrested and charged with carrying concealed weapons, which is a misdemeanor. According to the report, that weapon was classified as a handgun.

Sadler’s arrest was not the only news involving the freshman. The Tar Heels also listed him out for their game at Clemson on the ACC’s availability report Wednesday night.

The freshman caught three passes for 66 yards in last week’s win over East Tennessee State. He currently ranks fourth on the team with four receptions for 73 yards.

Sadler was listed on the Tar Heels’ two-deep earlier this week.

Chapman is also listed out for the Clemson game on the availability report. Chapman has not caught a pass this season.

Also listed as questionable on the availability report is UNC defensive end Melkart Abou Jaoude. He has one sack this season, which resulted in a strip-sack fumble in the Tar Heels’ win over TCU in Week 0.

Abou Jaoude has four tackles overall, including three unassisted tackles.

Clemson quarterback Christopher Vizzina is listed as probable on Clemson’s availability report.
