The betting line for Clemson’s first ACC road game of the 2026 campaign has been released.

Clemson is now currently a 1.5-point betting underdog against Cal, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The Tigers opened as a 1.5-point favorite at FanDuel.

The Tigers and Golden Bears are set to square off at Cal Memorial Stadium on Friday night, with kickoff set for 10:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.

It will mark the first time in school history that Clemson plays a conference game on the West Coast.

The game will be Clemson’s fourth all-time in the Golden State, joining road games at Pacific in 1951 and USC in 1966, in addition to Clemson’s victory over Alabama in Santa Clara to secure the national championship for the 2018 season.

It will be the second all-time meeting between Clemson and Cal, as the teams’ lone previous meeting came in the Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day in 1992. Cal won that contest, 37-13.

Clemson (2-1, 1-0 ACC) is coming off a 28-20 comeback win over North Carolina on Saturday at Memorial Stadium in the ACC opener for both teams. It’s the second victory in a row for the Tigers, who opened the season with a 51-10 loss at LSU on Sept. 5 before bouncing back with a 22-7 win vs. Georgia Southern on Sept. 12.

Cal (2-1, 1-0) also won its second straight contest on Saturday, defeating Wagner, 49-7, at Cal Memorial Stadium. Cal won its ACC opener at Syracuse on Sept. 12, 21-18, after opening the season with a 45-24 home loss to UCLA on Sept. 5.
