Earlier this season, Clemson running back Gideon Davidson announced his “Touchdowns for Hope” pledge, promising to donate $500 to the charity “Love Big Love Well” for every touchdown he scores during the 2026 season.
Davidson officially cashed in on that promise during Clemson’s dramatic, comeback 28-20 victory against North Carolina on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
The sophomore broke out with a big performance as the lead back, racking up a career-high 105 yards on 16 carries and scoring his first career touchdown on an 8-yard run in the fourth quarter to give Clemson its first lead of the game with 5:01 to play.
True to his word, that touchdown put his first $500 on the board for families in need.
Love Big Love Well is a non-profit organization dedicated to walking alongside children and families facing life-altering medical diagnoses, offering Gospel hope, loving encouragement, meaningful relationships and practical support. If you’d like to get involved or mirror Davidson’s generosity, you can learn more on the official Love Big Love Well website.
The American Football Coaches Association recently announced that Davidson was named to the 2026 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team for his community service efforts locally, abroad and in the area of adoption support. He became the 11th member of the Clemson program all-time to earn an AFCA Good Works Team distinction.
