An SEC school is targeting one of Clemson’s current commits.

Three-star LB RJ Hudson (Varina, VA) picked up an offer from Texas late Monday.

Hudson committed to the Tigers back in June, shortly after taking an official visit and about two weeks after picking up his offer, which came after he worked out at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp. Hudson also gave Maryland an official visit and was originally planning to give Syracuse one, but that trip was ultimately scrapped.

Penn State, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Cincinnati make up some of his other offers.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder is one of three linebackers currently committed to Clemson in the 2027 class, along with four-star Bryce Kish and three-star Max Brown.
