Following the season-opening loss to LSU, Clemson kept its recent momentum going with a third straight win, beating Cal 24-10 on Friday night at Cal’s Memorial Stadium.
The Tigers improved to 3-1 on the season, including a 2-0 mark in ACC play, while also evening up the all-time series with Cal at one win apiece. Friday’s matchup marked the first between the two programs since the Golden Bears joined the ACC two years ago.
Clemson will return home to Memorial Stadium next Saturday, when the top-10 ranked Miami Hurricanes come to town.
