Gameday Analysts Give Their Picks for Clemson-Miami

The College GameDay crew has locked in their picks for Clemson’s big ACC showdown tonight at Memorial Stadium.

ESPN’s College GameDay analysts made their selections for the Week 5 matchup between Clemson (3-1, 2-0 ACC) and No. 4 Miami (4-0, 2-0) at Clemson’s Death Valley.

Clemson comes in as a 15.5-point underdog on the spread for the game, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on ABC.

You can see the picks from the College GameDay analysts below:

Desmond Howard: Miami

“I think Miami just has too much talent. Even though they’ve suffered a lot of injuries, that’s a lot of points. … They won’t cover [the spread], but Miami will win.”

Nick Saban: Miami

“I’m all in on Miami. I think they’re one of the most complete teams in the country so far this year, and I think they’re going to dominate Clemson.”

Pat McAfee: Miami

“You talked about [Malachi Toney] earlier. He is certainly a special weapon. [Darian] Mensah, the quarterback for Miami, more touchdowns than incompletions on the season. We’re already a month into this thing. That is a crazy stat. I think [Miami head coach] Mario Cristobal just wants to handle some business. I will take the Miami Hurricanes to get a big win over Clemson.”

The celebrity guest picker, former Iowa women’s basketball legend and current Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, picked Miami as well.

Kirk Herbstreit did not make a selection for the Clemson-Miami game, as he will be on the call for the ABC broadcast alongside Chris Fowler.
