Clemson has offered a second running back in the 2028 class.
Four-star Kevin Hartsfield (Newton, GA) announced the offer via a social media post on Friday.
“Blessed and honored to receive a Division 1 offer from The Clemson University,” the running back posted to X.
Through seven games, Hartsfield has rushed for 763 yards with 10 touchdowns. The 5-foot-10, 200-pounder is averaging 11.8 yards per carry.
Hartsfield is considered one of the top backs in the class and has close to 50 offers in total. Most major programs are in pursuit.
Auburn, Tennessee and Georgia have already gotten game-day visits this season, and he is expected to be in Miami this weekend when the Hurricanes host Florida State. Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State are each expected to get visits before the end of the season.
The 247 Composite ranks Hartsfield No. 32 overall and No. 1 among all running backs in the class. He also ranks No. 5 in the Peach State.
Hartsfield is just the second running back in the 2028 class to receive an offer. Four-star Xander Edwards was the first, announcing his while on a visit for the Miami game two weeks ago.
