A current Clemson commit continues to turn in a dominant senior campaign.
Three-star in-state DT Jaden Wuerth notched his 15th sack of the season Friday night during Dutch Fork’s 42-0 win over River Bluff on Friday night. Wuerth came into the contest also credited 45 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and one forced fumble. He was recently chosen to play in the Shrine Bowl.
Wuerth committed to the Tigers back in the spring. Miami, Penn State, NC State, Virginia Tech and South Carolina represented some of his other offers.
Being so close, Wuerth has been in attendance for every home game this season. However, that streak will come to end due to a family obligation he plans to attend, but it’s a safe bet that fans will continue to see him on hand most home Saturdays.
“I am fully locked in. No matter what,” Wuerth recently told TCI. “That was the decision the day I committed.”
Wuerth, who plans to enroll early, is one of two defensive tackles currently committed to Clemson, along with four-star in-state talent Seth Tillman.
