Clemson Commit Puts On Show Under Friday Night Lights

A Clemson commit had a stellar performance for his high school team on Friday.

Three-star receiver Julian Cromartie reeled in four touchdown catches for College Park in a 44-10 win over Conroe.

Coming into the contest, the 6-foot-3 wideout was credited with 20 catches for 448 yards and six touchdown catches. That is an average of more than 22 yards per catch.

Cromartie committed in late May on the first day of the big official visit weekend. He is one of three receivers committed to the Tigers in the 2027 class, along with five-star Jamarin Simmons and four-star Trey Wimbley.

Cromartie is the son of Antonio Cromartie, an NFL All-Pro cornerback. Antonio played at Florida State from 2003-05 before going on to be selected by the San Diego Chargers in the first round (19th overall pick) of the 2006 NFL Draft.

The four-time Pro Bowler and 2007 first-team All-Pro also played for the New York Jets, Arizona Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts over his 11-yard NFL career, totaling 417 tackles, 117 passes defended and 31 interceptions (including three returned for touchdowns) across 162 career games.

Julian has over two dozen offers in total, including schools such as Ole Miss, Texas, Texas Tech, Michigan, Georgia and Florida State.

He transferred to College Park in Texas before his junior season after spending his first two years at Mater Dei, San Diego.
