TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Saturday night’s Halloween contest between Clemson and Florida State turned into a scary outcome for the Seminoles, as the Tigers came away with a 36-24 victory at Doak Campbell Stadium.
Clemson freshman quarterback Tait Reynolds haunted FSU with both his arm and his legs, throwing for 189 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 85 yards and another score — a 79-yard TD run with 3:17 left that sealed the win.
The Tigers extended their road winning streak at Doak Campbell Stadium to five games and became only the third program ever to win five or more consecutive road games at Florida State, joining Florida (six from 1966-76) and Miami (five from 1957-77).
