One of Clemson’s wide receivers is working his way back to the field.
After missing the past two games with a concussion, Dabo Swinney said during his weekly press conference on Tuesday that freshman wideout Gordon Sellars III returned to practice on Monday. However, the head coach also disclosed that Sellars suffered a small setback during practice, leaving his availability for Saturday’s game at Syracuse unclear.
“He was a little banged up (Tuesday) morning,” the head coach said. “We will see if he is available or not.”
Sellars logged 63 snaps over the first six games, catching three passes for eight yards.
The 6-foot-3 receiver was a consensus four-star prospect and Top 225 recruit coming out of Providence Day High School, signing with Clemson as a member of the 2026 recruiting class. Sellars was ranked as high as the 22nd-best receiver in the country.
