CLEMSON — Clemson defensive tackle Vic Burley had his day in front of a judge at Clemson University’s Municipal Court on Wednesday morning.

The Clemson Insider was able to confirm that Burley pleaded guilty to public disorderly conduct and was granted a conditional discharge by Judge Lindsey Simmons. TCI has requested the records of Simmons’ decision and will report those findings when, and if, that information is made available to us.

TCI can confirm that Burley will remain under court supervision for six months and must do community service, among other things, to get his charges dismissed. The graduate senior was suspended indefinitely by head coach Dabo Swinney last Saturday afternoon.

On Saturday, Aug. 22, Burley was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after he was allegedly found asleep at 2:15 a.m., by officers in his truck with the vehicle running. Burley was released on Sunday and was originally scheduled for an Oct. 14 court date.
