North Carolina WR Set to Visit Clemson On Saturday

A North Carolina prospect is moving his visit to Clemson up by one week.

2028 three-star ATH Kaydan Whiteside will be on campus Saturday for the Tigers’ home opener against Georgia Southern. Whiteside was originally planning to visit the following weekend for the home opener against North Carolina.

The 5-foot-11 prospect worked out at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp in June.

While the Tigers have yet to extend an offer, Whiteside is extremely high on Dabo Swinney’s program.

“I like Dabo a lot. I like coach (Tyler) Grisham a lot,” he recently told TCI. “When you think of Clemson, you just think of a prestigious school. I don’t know how I would react, but Clemson is my number one school, though, for sure.

Whiteside has more than 20 offers in total. Some schools are recruiting as a defensive back, while others are pursuing him as a wide receiver. The Tigers like him at wideout. He plays both at the high school level.

South Carolina, Wake Forest, Florida State, Tennessee, North Carolina, NC State, Florida and Virginia Tech are all expected to get game-day visits as well. Each of those schools has already offered.

Whiteside is now at Asheville High School after transferring from Fort Union Military Academy in Virginia.
